1. National Guideline Clearinghouse™ (NGC)
NGC is a public resource for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

2. Center for Evidence Based Physiotherapy
Mission: To search, collect and disseminate available scientific evidence in the physiotherapy domain for physiotherapists, health care workers, patients and financiers of health care.

3. The Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro).
PEDro is a free database of over 15,500 randomised trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy. For each trial, review or guideline, PEDro provides the citation details, the abstract and a link to the full text, where possible. Manuscript describing PEDro.

4. The World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT)
WCPT's programme of work on Evidence Based Practice (EBP) includes providing an on-line resource facilitating access to a wealth of materials that will support physical therapists in providing effective practice. This includes access to on-line journals and databases, clinical guidelines and methodological support.

The Musculoskeletal Treatment Guidelines were created to assist health care providers (Medics, LPNs, RNs, Physicians, etc.) in providing care. These guidelines aid in establishing basic standards of care, assist in ensuring all patients receive the same care and information, provide easy access to information for the provider and help prevent multiple variations of treatment.
